Advanced Longform w/ Kevin Matviw

Learn longform improv techniques with Second City veteran Kevin Matviw! In Advanced Longform Improv, students will learn advanced Game of the Scene tactics such as Verse/Chorus/Verse, Analagous Scenes and how to create and identify a comedic premise on the spot. Techniques will be taught with a combination of in-the-moment direction, exercises and analysis of pre-recorded improv scenes and sketches featuring the elements discussed. This six-week class runs every Thursday from January 16th to February 20th, 7-9pm. At the end of this six-week class, students will showcase their skills in a performance for invited family and friends, date TBD. ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
